Sebagai administrator Anda pasti tidak asing dengan istilah DHCP. Tetapi biasanya membangun server DHCP di sistem operasi Windows yang bisa dikonfigurasi sesuka hati tidak mudah dilakukan. DHCP Turbo merupakan aplikasi manajemen pengalamatan jaringan yang berjalan di Windows dengan tampilan yang apik.



Feature yang disediakan oleh DHCP Turbo cukup beragam, salah satunya layanan DHCP dan BOOTP dengan kecepatan tinggi, yaitu sekitar 2000 alamat baru/detik. Aplikasi ini juga bisa mengatur server DHCP untuk sistem operasi Solaris, Linux dan Windows secara simultan, termasuk membuat subnet yang berlapis di tiap segmen jaringan. Untuk pengamanan, perintah baris di DHCP Turbo bisa dienkripsi dan terintegrasi dengan sistem manajemen jaringan lainnya



DHCP Turbo terdiri dari dua edisi yaitu edisi Standar dengan feature yang ideal untuk jaringan menengah ke bawah dan edisi Enterprise dengan tambahan dukungan untuk DOCSIS. (Andrianto Purnomo - kontributor)
